Grade 8 Uniforms
2025-2026
August 22, 2025
8th Grade Students at Senator Frank Lautenberg School 6.
We are excited to announce a new initiative for the 2025–2026 school year to recognize and distinguish our 8th graders as the senior leaders of Senator Frank Lautenberg School 6. Beginning this year, only 8th grade students will wear a unique school uniform color.
To prepare for this change, we are asking all 8th grade families to visit United School Uniform, located at 301 Main Street, Paterson, NJ. When visiting, please inform the staff that you are there with your 8th grader to be measured for the Senator Frank Lautenberg School 6 uniform.
Upon receiving your child’s measurements, each 8th grader will receive free:
One (1) gold uniform shirt with the school logo
One (1) pair of black uniform pants with the school logo
These items will help set our 8th graders apart and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment as they prepare to complete their final year at our school. The gold shirt is aligned with our Olympic theme "Go for the Gold!" As we know, a gold medal is the highest accomplishment possible at the Olympics.
Families are welcome to purchase additional gold shirts and black pants if desired.
Students in grades Kindergarten through 7th grade will still wear light blue shirts and khaki or dark blue pants as their school uniform.
We would like to thank Ms. Diane Savage and her team for their work making this initiative possible!
Thank you for your continued support and teaming up with us to help our students go for the gold! We look forward to celebrating our 8th graders and all they will accomplish this year.
